Welcome to the web site of the Debtor and Invoice Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (DIFA). DIFA was formed in 1994, under the name of Institute for Factors and Discounters (IFD) to represent the major providers of the fast growing financial services of Factoring and Discounting, also known as receivables finance.

The Association exists to:

• promote Factoring and Discounting to potential users, trade associations, professional bodies and government
• promote the importance of the Industry to small and medium-sized enterprises
• represent the Industry participants

DIFA, represented by the chief executives of member companies, meets regularly to discuss industry issues.

DIFA does not involve itself in matters relating to the commerical activities of its members, or the terms and conditions on which individual members conduct business with their clients.
